Members of the Oghma Group International Gave Presentations at a Migration Workshop in Lebanon

Dr. Suzanne Menhem organized a two-day workshop on migration and the Lebanese diaspora's contribution to Lebanon's socioeconomic revival at the Tammuz Center for Citizenship Studies and Training in Byblos. 
 
While Dr. Rudyard Kazan presented his research on the diaspora's role in the spirits and tourism industries, Dr. Menhem presented the findings of Oghma's research on outmigration and the situation of elderly people left behind.
 
Other speakers discussed topics such as human smuggling, demography, maritime laws, refugees, and the film industry. Regular workshops on current issues of concern are held by the Tammuz Center for Citizenship Studies and Training in collaboration with the Hanns Seidel Stiftung.
