2022- Conference- The 3rd World Women's Conference of Grassroots Women

 

Ms. Buşra Ali, member of Oghma’s translation team and president of JÎN Women’s Association in Lebanon, is participating in the 3rd World Women's Conference (WWC) of Grassroots Women in Tunisia.

 

The conference aims to highlight the struggles of “grassroots women” (e.g., farmers, workers, teachers, seamstresses, homemakers, etc.) who are fighting for their rights.

 

Women from 30 countries are meeting in Tunisia to show sisterhood solidarity, to discuss ways to end exploitation, violence, and submission, as well as to plan ways to improve women’s overall conditions.
