Dr. Guita Hourani has been accepted as an Affiliate Researcher at the Malmö Institute for Studies of Migration, Diversity, and Welfare (MIM) of the Malmö University in Sweden.

 

Extending her research work on diaspora and politics, Hourani will examine the emergence and expansion of Homeland Political Parties (HPPs) as “non-state actors” in international relations, operating through diaspora-based transnational political networks, using the example of Lebanon.
